Woah what a run! That was brilliant!! I was a bit worried after the drivers briefing that it was going to be severely boring but that was anything but. Thanks for a great morning everyone and thanks to Aaron for organising
Good day out on the track. I think I prefer the track itself over QR however, QR is a lot less frustrating when I comes to overtaking. Apologies to people that were stuck behind me on the last few laps. I couldn't overtake someone infront, I ran out of puff on the straight to OT but kept catching up on the back part of the track where we aren't allowed to OT. :/
I thought the little chicane thingy was pretty cool, going through there @ ~75-80km/h was great fun. Although towards the end it looked like someone had nicked the inside cone of the exit turn -.- So that made it a bit faster as well.
Unfortunately my positioning of the GoPro was absolutely crap, as there is an A-pillar right in the middle of the video I'll still upload it but don't expect a good video. Seeing the GoPro seemed to stick to the Lotus fine, I might try to attach it to the exterior next time.
Good to meet some new people as well
Big thanks again to Clay for organising this.
I think it's pretty awesome that you guys allow me in my French car to join in on these events

Do you mean me man? Sorry if I was holding you up, but I was stuck behind a group in front of me. I thought about doing a hero overtake manoeuvre down the main straight to get past them all but it didn't seem in the spirit of the day....
Today was fantastic, was the right number of cars, kept things interesting and plenty of clear laps to. The gopro worked ok for us so I'll work out how to upload when back at home.
I was also a bit dubious after the drivers brief, and the chicane, but didn't mind the chicane as a little challenge.

Great morning! I'm uploading my GoPro footage now, it's 3.5GB so might take a while, but will post later on when it's done. I was only ambling along at about 6/10ths just enjoying myself but it was great fun.

Assuming from your pic you were in the M Coupe? I was in that group too and was definitely holding you up (black XR5) - sorry mate! I tried letting you past a couple times but it was crowded & would have been easy to trip each other. I think you were stuck behind me, I was stuck behind another car, and he was stuck behind the car in front of him so there was a bit of a train going there for a bit. Good fun though...your BM looks/sounds great btw.
It was a pretty good event, not as much traffic.
Unfortunately QR like to change the rules all the time and now they have the "has to be road registered" and "lets add a witches hat chicane before the bridge" rules in place which no one advised me of when I confirmed numbers last wednesday.
I won't get a chance to upload my footage but it wasn't terribly exciting as i was taking it easier out there.
Can't wait for the next one at QR.
Stand outs for me were the TTS and the Abarth.
I really only saw about 10 cars maximum as everyone was about the same pace.
