Do you have a list of entrants by category? I'm keen to see what cars the Polo is up against given it no doubt falls into the modified category with some fairly heavy hitters.

Is the Nissan Pulsar a GTi-R or a FWD model? Perhaps there's hope for the Polo if there's a fastest FWD category instead.

With those wide front tyres on the Mirage and expectations of 260kph I guess the Polo will indeed be left in the dust - even the Lambo didn't make it to 260kph last year...

I see you are from Sydney - are you planning on driving down on the Saturday morning or staying overnight along the way?

There are a few of us leaving from Canberra at 5am on Saturday morning to get to Cooma for scrutineering - I know it's an early start but if you're planning coming through or leaving from Canberra around that time let me know and we can meet up and head up in convoy.

There is a factory part (which you can't buy anymore) that goes under the front seat. I'm on the mobile at the moment so can't search too well, but I did do a write up on how I fabricated my own. It's very easy and should take long if you have a sheet of aluminium handy.
