Hi Clay,

Seeing the Lotus is not going to be running again for awhile thought I would join the forum / club - if it ok as I do not own a VW? I would like to put my name down on the reserve list for the next happy laps 2 thanks. Also thought this might be of interest to the older VW Golf GTI owners:

You could always jag a ride as a passenger with someone if you don't want to push your own car just yet.
At least as a spectator/passenger you can work out if it's what you want to do.

I just can't believe it was done earlier as there is obviously demand for it.
You would think the VW Drivers Club QLD would have jumped on something similar as the lotus club used to do it frequently (according to youtube)
