Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

The wife is away so it's just me and the boy... Will have to put the car seat into my car and come along. (or find a baby sitter ) Just have to be at the airpost at 4:30 or there could be some trouble...

I have also added it to our Calendar:

I thought this coincided with the Flat Four Shootout, but that's on the 4th

Like Pedro, it's smack-bang in the middle of my exams! I'll probably still turn up though... my exams are on Fridays. Put me as 70% yes!

well guys, like the last cruise, turn up at krispys, say your hello's and if need be,leave!

if we dont do the cruise that weekend, then the next free weekend will be in January.

alot of people cant do it in december as its before chrissy.

the only other option is the next weekend, 18th nov.???

whinge enough and the exec team might change it.

mk3vr6 posted a dyno day for 18th tho, so numbers would be even less.

whats the point of dynoing a car every few months???

those "my thing is bigger than your thing " dyno days do nothing for me imo.

18th November would be great for me as my last exam is on the 16th. But if the plan has been set to be 11th, then I won't fight it! As long as it doesn't get moved to the weekend after the 18th. Some of us might want to travel down to Melbourne for the DOVW!

We all complain that we have to many cruises in the one month, I thought that we were going to push this back to early december! I'm with Raymond as I may be travelling down to DOVW in Melbourne.

We went down to the gong in January I think that we should change the destination, as we have already done it and like I have heard before don't feel like going in a straight line!

If you make it on the 18th you will lose numbers there are many people that would want to go to both events. Also there is a point to dynoing your car every couple of months cause people do things to there cars and would like to see what they get, I being one of them have done a considerable amount of mods and would like to see what I have accomplished yet I would also like to go to a vww gathering! I say push back to first week of December.
