  • WA Bi Monthly Cruise + BBQ

    Hey,

Would anyone be interested in going to a cruise once every two months? Would be good to keep the group together for things like German car day and all that. Wouldn't mind going for a BBQ or place to eat as a destination for the cruise either. I Don't mind organizing it as long as we get some good turn outs

Let us know what you think.

    Cheers

    Edit: ignore the bi monthly

    CRUISE 2: 27/05/2012
    Whats happening so far.
    Who: You
What: Meet then cruise then bbq then show and shine and admire
When: Initial meet at 9:00 on the 27th of May
Where: Initial meet at Stirling city centre then cruise through mundaring and canning to araluen.

    Plan:

    27th May cruise route

Meet up at Stirling city centre (A on the Google maps)at 9:00. Leave by 10-10:30 to finish at araluen around 12. Cruise is through mundaring and canning roads with 4 catch up/meet up points along the way.

Feel free to recommend any changes or point out things that probably wont work that well.

    CRUISE 1: 25/03/2012
    Whats happening so far.
    Who: You
What: Meet then cruise then bbq then dunno.
When: Initial meet at 10:00 on the 25th of March
Where: Initial meet at South perth esplanade park then cruise to mundairing or canning bbq areas

    Plan:
Meet up at the South Perth Esplanade at 10:00ish in the morning

Leave the South Perth Esplanade at a planned 11:00-11:30ish (usually takes that long for everyone to meet up) to a meet up point to be able to regroup specially after a mirage of traffic lights, best place i can think of is Jorgensen park which is right at the start of mundaring weir road. If anyone wants a another meetup point feel free to suggest. Then a good fang to mundaring weir and the bbq.

Please feel free to suggest anything and any changes

Edit: Ill be bringing gourmet sausages and maybe some other meat. Feel free to bring drinks and bread and anything else that you would like.

I'd be interested, but it would depend on what chores the other half has got me booked for on the day

Thats a hell of a cop out if I've ever heard one

Which days usually best for everyone? Saturdays or sunday? Thinking we could do the first on the 3rd or 4th?

I go to the gym 4 times a week, I do martial arts 4 times a week, I get to own an RS4, etc etc etc - dont you think these come at an incredible price elsewhere?

Looks good but doesn't look like there's much parking near it.

I was thinking somewhere in kings park like the DNA tower but i don't think it has a bbq spot

Another option is mundairing weir. Meet at the DNA Tower have a couple of check points to keep as a cruise then go to mundairing for a good barby.

was going to organise an evening cruise with significant driving legs to finish at Alfreds Kitchen...might keep that separate to this though as the focus will be on significant driving legs
