4th of March at the DNA tower at 10am, leave at 11am. Make sure you have a lot of fuel. Hows that?

So do we bring our own bbq food and each person does their own thing or do we all chip in and get a few people to organise it?

Not sure, I don't mind bringing a bit of sausages and that but depends on what people like if they don't like sausages and steak maybe byo?

As for the date. How about the weekend after then? The 11th?

I was going to add that the 4th is no good as I'll be down south, however can't make the 11th either as I'm away for a conference! Next time perhaps (I know I keep saying this, but I will turn up one day :p) Enjoy guys

Thanks Back Door, I've put the 18th in my diary as a tentative if the rest of the crew go with this date I'll be there too

Ok since no one is complaining the 18th it is. Ill be bringing a selection of gourmet sausages and maybe some other meat (steaks or chicken). Feel free to bring your own stuff and whatnot and drinks as well. Ill probably bring some sliced bread as well so if someone wants to bring proper bread that would be sweet.

Edit: Would probably be a good idea to subscribe to this thread to get all the updates as we will reuse this thread for future cruises

possible Nic, and you can never find a date suit suit everyone, but surely long weekends and F1 weekends are dates to be avoided.

As a car forum, I woulda thought a lot here would be watching the F1

I think Luke is doing a excellent job in trying to get this event up and running and everyone should hand it to him for putting the effort in as organising these things is not easy.

This event is going to be held often so there will be plenty of chances for people to show up and show off their pride and joy but we just need to get this first one happening and then from there we will learn if times/dates or places need to be changed.

The Perth chapter has never really had an event like this so to get one going will be a big plus and will benefit everyone so I think we should just stick with the dates that Luke picks out and just go with it because in the end this is going to lead to greater things for the Perth chapter of VWW.
