That's the biggest fun I have had in a long time. Thanks so much to all the VW water cooled community for letting me take part.Hopefully i behaved myself so I can be included next time.

Thank you too Clay for organizing the event.

Thanks for organizing Clay. It was another great day and im sure there will be many more to come.
Does anyone know the guy with the RS4? That was by far the sexiest car on the track. I dont think ive ever seen 1 up close, i met him but then ran off to turn my car off. He left quickly.
As others have said, (not complaing just giving constructive criticism )That ute should not of been there. Its a VW day and and at least other euro's. Not a ute day. He actually let me past on the corners after he realized he wasnt as fast on the straight. So that was good, but i was stuck behind him with 4 others for about 4 laps which was stupid. At least someone told him what he was doing after.
I also had a chat to the guy in the Clio. I think he commented earlier. Hopefully know he realizes you can push the limits of your car Yes, but o er taking people into corners wasnt the best idea. I saw it happen on every corner. I was held up by 3 other slower cars which i had no problem with (it is a happy lap day) i was waiting for it to be VERY safe on a straight or be waved through and he over took me before i had that chance (through a corner) then dangerously did it to the other guys. My car is fast too mate but it wasnt the day to do it. Im happy that he apologized so thank you.
Its amazing that everyone is very similar in straight line max speed. Its in and out of the corners that power makes a difference.

I feel sorry for Ben if he couldnt get his car off the ground (literally). If i knew i would of gone and got him a new USB cable. dont forget to PM me your compressor board dimensions so i can give you that rubber to stop the vibration

Uploading some GoPro footage now. Camera died 5 mins in though, so only 5 mins of proper footage.

Thanks Clay for organizing. Was a nice run and not many traffic for me. Was surprised to see everyone getting on pace immediately with no warmup, a bit different to the runs I participated in the past.

To the gray Golf R, I mis-judged my downshifts and ran wide at the left hander at the back and I thought I would slow down and let you by since u were close to my tail. Sorry if I caused any problem.

Can't wait for the next one.

Ah ****, we should have each shouted him 5 dollars for a cab back .

    Damn that sucks.

That was fun! Thanks for organising Clay. A few surprises, like that blue Clio - man that was quick. My standard brakes and suspension were on their limits but I still thought I was going okay. It was a good feeling to easily rope in a 5.7l V8 down the main straight at 190km/h. I liked the white GTI mk6 with the NSW plates and fancy brakes/wheels/suspension. That was tidy!

I had great time, sorry for holding some of you guys up in the corners (especially around Hungry until I figured it out), and like most of you I got held up by the Commodore ute through the twisty stuff. Mine was a white Mk6 GTI 5 door with normal plates ***-RYB, I did 10 laps and my mate passenger did the same after we pitted.

Was my first time ever on a track and the car just clocked over 2500km while we were lapping so it's still running in Was a great opportunity to find the limits of the car and see how the stability control reacted prior to actually needing it on the road.

I couldn't hang around at the end but will make more time on the next one. Thanks for organising it Clay

Once again - top day!! Had a blast!

Yeah that Commodore driver was a bit annoying on the back straight. Fair enough he was giving it a good flog down the main straight, but there was no need to deliberaly hold up people on the back section and NOT wave them through.

Me thinks more mods are in order!

Had a great time, thank you for organising it Clay. Really good to get out on the track, and far less intimidating than going on sprints. Can't wait till the next one.

Me too, the guy was a complete wanker. Not doing much for the reputation of commodore drivers.
