Not denying that for a second my little Golfie sold me on FWD (prefer RWD, but like the feeling of torque through the steering and the packaging advantages of front), but not so much when it's attached to a 1700kg car with a small 6cyl and "luxury" suspension.
In regards to catering, I'll be there with 2 kids (8 & 12), so they'll want to eat, so wondering the charge for them, please, with me paying the 30$ ? Ta
QR have advised that children 12 and under are at a discounted rate of $10 however they don't count towards the 30 person total.
Hey Team_V, Jo (my wife) also wants to have a go, but not in her Tiguan (in my R). So - how does it work for both of us? Would it be $30ea, and we both get a 30min session? Or would we have to share the 30min session? Ideally we'd like to get a 30min session each.

Hi Mate.
I believe it would be $30 each and you would have to share the car.
The cost of the day is essentially to supply food and catering staff.
The 30 minute time limit is basically to allow us to use the track while the "whole day" group booking are on lunch break.
Cheers for the reply. So - just so I'm clear, is it just the one 30min session we have access to the track for, while the other guys are on lunch?
Or are they taking a 1hr lunch, and us (the VW guys) will go out in 2 groups, to use up 2 x 30min slots?
Money is no problem - what I'm getting at is... will Jo & I have to share 1 x 30min slot (15min driving each), or will we be able to get 2 x 30min sessions each?

We only have access to the track for 1 x 30 minute session while the other guys are on their lunch.
If you both want to try the R then you will have to share the driving time (15 minutes each).
Having said that, if this goes well i will be organising another one so Jo can try it out later if you want the whole 30 minutes.
I am really confused now, hope you can clear it up. If 1 person attends alone, they pay $30 and have track access for 30 mins, but if 2 people attend, they each pay $30 but only have 15 mins track access.

We only have the track for 30 minutes.
If you have 2 people but they want to drive the same car then you can split it 2 x 15 minutes.
Alternatively, everone brings their own car and both people get to drive for hte full 30 minutes.
Gotcha now. I probably misled you. Originally I wanted to bring my niece in her MK IV, but coincidentally, she now can't make it so it will still be X2 for me but just one car.
No worries mate.
There isn't a lot of information known about the happy laps so this is a learning experience for everyone.
Hopefully by the end of it we will have a concise knowledge base for anyone who wants to organise it in the future.
