Anyone up here in Lake Macq / Ncstle done Nanolex paint protection? Don't know what it actually protects the paint from but there's a pic of a Roc on another thread & it looks good.

Not sure if anyone around here does the Nanolex - although its not hard to make a new car look good (im an ex professional detailer).

Although this place zenwash auto detailing - Newcastle is supposed to be pretty good. Might be worth a call and see if he has access to Nanolex or a similar product. Otherwise, if you specifically want Nanolex, you will probably have to go to Sydney to get it done.

And to answer your other question.........potholes.......everywhere. I was recently on a holiday in NZ, and drove about 2,500km around the Sth Island, and i swear i could count on one hand the amount of potholes i saw. In Australia, i cant even drive to get some milk without dodging about 20 of them.

The roads in Australia are absolute rubbish.

Weather is supposed to clear up actually......according to the newspaper. Clear all wkend and into next week. Im off for the wkend with the Mrs so hopefully the forecast is correct.

AutoBarn have a pretty good selection of silicone hoses - every time i go there they have the "Turbosmart" brand. Otherwise....eBay. What do you need? I've got some pieces at home left over from an intercooler swap on my old 200sx - they are either 2.25 inch or 2.5 inch....cant remember. If i have what you need then you are welcome to have them. I'll let you know this afternoon.

I got my silicon joiners of fleabay. Decent enough quality.

Yeah I kind of needed it quick. I ordered a Samco one from QLD, I just hope it fits.

This is what I am replacing, I cut the metal clip off the end to fit it on my EGR delete pipe but its a little short and keeps popping off.
