hey everyone just thought id drop in and say hello!
sold the tdi and got a colt ralliart. didn't like it, it was bloody quick, but cheap, uncomfortable etc ( yes i know anyone could have told me that ) so i traded it for an xr6 turbo on liquid gas injection, 18's, sport suspension and a dual 3 inch exhaust. which all jokes/ mockery aside is an awesome car. can cruise with no effort and its f***King scary when i plant it. i miss the golf a little but for now the 6 serves its purpose well, lots of highway kms and rough rural roads for me for a while. is really good on gas too, a 50 buck tank lasts me about 500kms, similar to what my tdi used haha. ( it was 80 for about 800kms)
all jokes aside if there is a newcastle meet/ track day/ dyno day I'm keen. ill keep checking in.
especially a dyno day as i need to see what i have. I'm thinking about 260atw.

Xr6t's are certainly very fun to drive, easy to get power from too.


Stuff from the states takes way to Lon to get here, now the vr is on the road, I need wheel bearings, engine mounts(can't change gears) and someone tried to break in and stuffed my window reg and motor.

yeh cuz got my rear bags on the way, and a pink unit sticker, and a southern cross tat for my arm. ( kidding)

I would be keen for a dyno run, but $250 is a bit out there. The GTi should be chipped and have a new exhaust soon.

Who did you post with? USPS is crap but Fedex/DHL/TNT are usually pretty quick. Good to hear its back on the road albeit kind of crippled from the sounds of it haha.

Will be up for a dyno day if we can get a discount on that $250.

Wheel bearing noise turned out to be an adapter issue, all sorted.

Should be sweet to hit the Dyno whenever. I won't bother with the other mods.

Possibility of getting a little discount with a few cars going?
