Saw a silver Mk5 GTI yesterday on Beaumont St. At first I was like **** thats my car.. Haha its lowered with black wheels, red VW badge, tinted tail lights and CHO55EN plates or something like that. I'm sure I've seen it before.

The silver GTi with CHO53N on the plates is my mate Brendan, i was working on his car this morning.

PS - i just saw that green Scirocco that Ideo and Hayden were talking about yesterday......looks pretty crap up close. Actually "pretty crap" is being polite....

Yeah, that sounds about right. I used to see the plates around the Central Coast all the time and couldn't remember what car they were on.

No - he was the first person to have those plates and he has had them for ages (prob 10 yrs now). Been on the following:

1995 Civic Hatch (silver)
1999 Civic Coupe (silver then custom respray silver/blue/purple/green flip flop colour)
2004 Impreza WRX Hatch (silver)
2008 Golf GTI (silver)

All his cars have been tastefully modified, no gawdy chrome wheels or horrible cheap bodykits in sight. Perhaps someone on the Central Coast has similar numberplates.

Ahhh, fair enough. The Blue WRX seems right, those others don't so must be a different car.

Pretty sure i saw that a month or so ago. It was a grey Mk5 if i remember correctly? Couple of girls driving it around the foreshore while i was taking my dog for a swim at Horseshoe beach.

Had the paint renewal process done by Ben at zenwash auto detailing  - HOME today. My god he does a great job. I didnt think my paint wasin that bad of shape untill he was finished with it.

The car is beeing used in a wedding tommorow so hopefully get some nice pics.

Good on you. Ive never used Zenwash (im an ex detailer myself) but i have only heard good things about them. Their prices are very reasonable too.
