Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

For all those driving, the photographer (Erin) who did all our photos last year will be present again... She'll be selling all the photos for the day for $45.00 which includes postage.
Should anyone be keen to get the photos, please send me a PM with your name & address details. Obviously you can also make a decision on the day to purchase the photos.
All payments for photos can be made directly to Erin on the day.

Weather for Friday - Tropical paradise in Goulburn
We have ordered a cloudy day with temps around 18 degrees for Friday and no wind to speak about. highlands heaven. I'll be there for a look again as in the past two years. Will be good to catch up
Conditions should be as good as they get in the Highlands at this time of year. If its anything like this morning though your drive down, track walk and first few laps might be in heavy fog which clears to a beautiful day.You know you are getting old when you cancel your order for a 3.6 CC and buy an Icelandic Gray TDI CC instead.

If there is fog, unfortunately Wakefield will not permit us on the track.
From previous experience, if there is fog, it normally lifts by 9:00am or not long after... Unfortunately this is something we cannot control & obviously safety is a priority for all involved.
Oh... Only one more sleep!

Well I've finally recovered from the track day & the big Friday night out in Goulburn 15 hours of sleep helped that
What a fantastic event, but honestly guys it would not have have been the same without the support of the marhsells Tony (Lib ASN), Gav (EVO Oz) & George (Lib ASN). These guys had the day running safely & like clock work. In all seriousness, I have never been to a track event that ran so well!
A big should out also has to go out to my friend Chris at 3D Imaage Crystal for supplying the awesome trophies.
Highlights for me:
* Tailing James in the Italian in the final session of the day & holding my own (Until my tires went right off).
* Taking a good mates friend for a hot lap & the smile it left on his face.
* The smiles on everyones faces having so much fun.
* & of course, the fantastic company for dinner & drinks (Many many many drink) on Friday night.
Looking forward to the next one already & will keep everyone posted on the date!
Btw, if anyone is keen to order the photos that were taken on the day, but forgot to do it on the day, please shoot me a PM with your contact details (E-mail address, mobile number) & I'll put the photographer or Gav into contact with you.
