actually just checked the site. pricing seems normal.

only other issue, would be as velly pointed out. It's not entierly local. (and woody would have a home track advantage!!)

no disrespect to velly, but cant we try something different, everyone is too comfortable close to home! spend the cash! travel the 1:45min to the track and have a good time, (not exactly 1:45min for velly which im sure we can work out with a sleep over or something) but far out guys, dont be scared to make a day out of it.....

if people are worried about petrol ect, i can pile 4 guys into my car to save cash... geez

i dont mind travelling, as long as its in November it will be best for me as weekends are free for me.
The plus side of having a blast in the city is that it gives us more dates to play with as most of us can make it after work where as PI is a weekend only event.

maybe set up a poll for 48 hours and see what results we get. (city v PI)

PI is ok but if we want a larger group and easy acess for most I think Port Melbourne would be the way to go.

Has anyone seen how slow the karts are at PI btw? And to have a lareg group at the Island track you to book well in advance im pretty sure.

Pi is a good track. Better if we can get a super kart package. Standard ones are pretty decent but they don't do any group specific bookings like at port melb. I'm more than happy to drive down and have done numerous times.

What carts (or is it karts?!) does PI have? They'd need to be 6-spd 250CC engined ones for the length of the actual circuit...
I'll do AusCarts on a weeknight.

PI has a go-kart track between turn 1 and turn 2.
