Only been there once, never seriously.
I'd be in for that on a weekend.

Yeah Moorabbin is awesome fun, nice and slidey. Plus it's walking distance from my house which means less chance of speeding tickets on the way home...
There is no Golf in my life. This is unacceptable...

Auscarts is slow and Ace karts is over priced and slow too.

Lets try somewhere different shall we? Like Le-Mans or that Moorabin joint Stu just said?

Go-kart sport in Moorabin is good. My short g0-karting career started there.

              2 RACE Format A $720.00 -$60 per driver (min. 12 drivers)
Race One: 10 lap qualifying session
Race Two: 15 lap main race from standing start (the fastest qualifier on pole position)

as someone who's never been karting before, that sounds like a damn good deal to me.

'cept their timing system sometimes stuffs up so someone who laps the field about 3 times comes in 2nd.

Also, the karts are set up pretty slidey and don't have loads of torque so power to weight is crucial and makes for a HUGE advantage for lighter drivers.

Same here, but I've always found that I'm basically too light and skip and bounce through corners.

Not that i've ever driven a properly set up kart, but **** it's painful.
