The only stumbling block was a suitable time, and suitable venue, Wont be able to please everyone unfortunately i don't think!

You never can..

I've done a couple of these nights with the skyline club and they're always a blast - just pick a time and place and make that be it. (to get a good turnout, after work on something like a thursday night is usually a good way to go, and make it later like 8:00ish so people from all sides of the city have time to get where it is.)

That was pretty much what I was thinking Sam.

I've been with work before on a thursday night, and it wasn't busy and everyone could make it and we had a blast too.

The track out in dandenong was one of the better I've been on, and is just off the monash, so it's nice and easy to get too.

How is everyone for wednesday nights? Say a 7:30-8PM kick off, potentially over in the eastern suburbs. Qualifying + 2 races, normally rings up to around 65-80 dollars.

If I can get some solid interest for a wednesday at around that start time, I'll start up proper event thread with finalised details. Will probably aim for about a months time. (doesn't matter if it rains, it's just even more fun then!)
