We don't have the issues with DST this time around, so 8.30 should be doable for those who are coming from 'around the place' (like me)...

How does this suit everyone? If all goes well, I'll send out PM's and get everyone to re-read and confirm their attendance...

I'll try and do a full write up of the test run and post it up at some stage soon as well...

Just that it seemed less of a clutted location to start from.
Garden city car pk mabe.. cnr kessels rd & logan end, easier to get to as well.
And plenty of room

Just been back to pg one my correction golfer wasn't sure, though i still think Garden city cpk would suit 25+ cars better.
location easier to get to with access roads n/s/e/w
also ideal for a few photo's before we leave of the whole group in one area.
same time though.

Man, i have been missing so many drives.
This one sounds great !

I agree with not meeting at Mt Gravatt Carpark.
I think 20 or so hot vws might attract some attention.

But it can take a shiiit load of cars though.

The only other place I can think of thats easy is the new Ikea at Springwood,
everytime I go past there the carpark is half empty.

i agree that for 25odd cars the milton maccas car park will be a squeeze and IKEA springwood doesnt sound like a bad thing , , , cant miss it and right beside the highway! gota pass it anyways if u think its further to drive n meet up . . .

what ever happened to the old Ikea carpark. I think it was DR Spine that like the idea of Milton meetup as there are a few from toowoomba that would need to stop and rest and have breakfast. I hope im not jumping in but if its ok with Golfer we could do a two stage meetup just so everyone is ok. I could meet at milton with who ever wants to meet there and the rst could meet at a carpark somewhere. The new ikea would be good but i dont know if they will like us crowding the carpark and i have been there when its full and its crazy. See what Golfer says when he gets on.

OLD ikea carpark is a good idea - Super Amart have not moved in yet so there are no cars (but they might be in by 3rd June)...

Another option is the 2nd SE Busway carpark at Eight Mile Plains - there is room for 100+ cars and there is not going to be a car there on a sunday morning... Has direct access to the freeway leaving and is easy to get to from the freeway or the gateway..!!!!
