What an awesome day & even better turnout!

Couldn't have asked for a better day!

The sun was on a scorching side, but that's out of everyone's control. At least there was plenty of shade to go around.

A big hand has to go out to Dom, Brit, Dom's family & everyone else that helped out with organizing/running & also everyone who came along, whether it was in a VW or just came along for a "captain cook"

Was good to see a variety of trade stands setup too!

Only thing I wasn't really a fan of was mixing sun screen with the dust storm! Really feel sorry for the cabby people!

But all in all, I hadn't had a day out like that in, well, one week to be honest with all the car shows I've been to lately! haha Also got over to have a look at some early Ford RS stuff too!

Plenty of people to chat VW's to, tons of cars to look at too

Plenty of standout cars, each with there own style, bits & pieces. I'm sure there was something for everyone.

Standout cars for me would be the pepperwhite (sorry, your name eludes me. DOH! jeez I've got a crap memory & feel real bad because if it) 76er, 16V on ITB's. Very cool car & very much all home built. Something I can relate too & awesome to see such things going on. Great chatting with you.

The red cabby. That is flawless all over. Especially the interior. Christ it would have been hot after sitting out in the sun all day!

Loved the stance on the rayray mobile. Couldn't get anymore euro stance & tyre tuck than that I reckon. Very cool.

I could go on & on. Many great cars & way too many to list.

I took a ton of pics, but I didn't bring my "A" game & most of them turned out blury! DAMN!

Was great fun catching up with the interstate crew again & as usual, there is very few instances where there isn't a joke, payout or burndown going on, all in good humour.

Good fun taking some of you for a spin in the 76er too. The smile's & giggles are priceless! I think I need incar cam! haha

Always great to meet & chat with new people & members.

This is what these shows are all about.

Bringing people together with the same common interest. VW Watercoolers & VAG products.

I'm alittle bit burnt, but not bad enough to really be concerned.

Hats off to everyone who made the trek down, across, up or from what ever direction you came from.

I think with a turnout like that, SEDF is a show that is here to stay & can only grow bigger!

        Being on the next one.

            cracker weekend all!!

big shout to Dom for organising it. Great to catch all the interstaters again, always a giggle.

I think we were all a bit shattered by the end of the day, I passed out as soon as my head hit the pillow!

It can only grow from here, and I look forward to the future of the show

well done Dom on a great day, good to see so many nice cars out and all the die-hard VW fans. Shame I missed the trophies, popped out to get lunch and ended up having to go to the chemist to get drops for an eye infection thats been lingering since Friday afternoon, I could barely see out of my left eye

It was also nice to meet some interstaters at Doms house saturday afternoon, you guys sure are dedicated!

I have to get around to editing & posting some pics up when I get a chance

best audi was schwartza I think? (sorry, forgotten your name)

best sedan went to Tim? One of the guys with the silver Bora from down the coast? (or am I getting my bora owners mixed up?)

What a day, and what a turn out! There were about 65 odd cars entered in the show and another 15-20 who just parked in - which is a great turnout for the first ever show!

MASSIVE props to Dom for stepping up to the plate and organising everything! Thanks to everyone else who helped the day run smoothly!

Big thanks to everyone that turned up, especially those who came from interstate! Hopefully people will put this event on thier calenders and we'll get even more next year!

It was great to meet some new faces always & make some more friends in the VW world!

Big thanks to the sponsors too, for helping the show get off the ground!

Highlights for me (there were SO many, too many too mention infact!) were Ray's wikid cool mk 3, James's mk 3, which has now finally got a vento front (that I didn't even know about till he turned up at the show) and of course.......

                        Matt and THAT Green Rocco!

oh, and greensy Safeway was pretty good too!

guys, thanks for the wonderful initiation to the dub scene!

the cruise in the morning was excellent! scared the missus a bit and put my in the bad books for a lil but as soon as we got to the park and she saw all the others cars it was all good hehe

would have liked to stick around a bit longer but as i ducked out for something to eat, i had to make a split and unfortunately missed out on what was a great day.

the turn out was awesome and again props to Dom and co for putting on such a killer day.

ps. was i the only twincharger that rocked up?
