What a rad weekend. Enjoyed talking to many enthusiastic VW people.
Its good to see so many poeple are getting out there and modifying the great cars we enjoy. Things have definately come a long way since I started playing with water pumpers, my first being a TS passat. I remember when we had 5 watercooled cars at a motokharna held in the Manhattan car park.
Big thankyou for making my day enjoyable looking and chatting with you all.
Few stand outs for me on the day were the red Mk1 Cabby (I could eat my dinner off that), Brent's Mk1 16v, the Eurospeed crew and finally seeing Tim's k-jet turbo that James has been telling me about.
Solid effort to Dom and all involved.
Bruce
P.S Time for you all to bring your rockets down to Phillip Island and drive a man's track in a spirited manor.
And a big thank you to Bruce for lending me one of his balls.
A shifter one from the racecar to get the rocco back up the hume.
Cheers i owe you one.

Awesome pics being posted here guys, it looked like a good day, bit like the Aus Edition38! I hope it grows in years to come, HUGE shout out to the man Dom for making this happen, i'd love to come down next year for one.
I'm lovin that white Mk1 GTI on the RS', definately my cuppa T, would have standard RS on the rear if it was mine though.
Golfworx's sleeper looks sooo good, love the KJetT install.
Loons Rocco back together and covered in all kinds of crap already made me laugh, looks great.
Dom those tyres are crazy!!
Carls Mk2 16V is one of my favourites in Australia.
Rays plates are cool, just like the rest of the car.
Love all the rat look Mk1's lined up!
Looked like a great turn-out, anyone know how many cars/people turned up?
I've got to ask, who's is this and whats the story!!??? I never had any trouble parking my car in Byron.

yeah i thought it was a cool little insider note on the car, thought it would look cool in a shot ( i think it turned out well!) but i have no idea who's the car is sorry. But i bet ya someone on here will know (me being a newby).
No way, sorry to hear about that, Byron is usually so chilled out.
Waterboy if you're reading, where were you parked mate?
Matt
I was heading out of Byron Bay towards Sufford Park.
A lady in some green Mazda pulls out in front of me stops and gases it in reverse, smashing both headlights, grille, bumper, drivers guard and front reo.
Race tap and cable ties, front end allignment and I was back on the road.
Its been a bloody headache sorting crap out etc...
