Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

What's the post number of the photos??? I can see an 8P S3 next to a MK1 with a side trim missing. It looks almost like a cab with the black roof??
Other red soft tops I saw today were a MK3 and an aircooled Beetle with a 911 kit on it.
Gavin
EDIT The one you have seen is a MK3 for sure now.Last edited by h100vw; 21-03-2010, 09:03 PM.

There was also a genuine '70s Karmen Cablioret in white that shows up most shows. I think it may have been a contender for best in show.'76 Mk1 Golf - Gone!

Hi everyone.
Thanks to everyone for attending and making the Day so successfull. Thanks to those who travelled from Interstate, a great commitment.
I would especially like to thank the following Forum Members, Greasy (Steve), The Kraut (Ben) & Phaeton (Ben) for their time and effort in judging. I also include Golfman (Josh). Although he didn't judge any cars, he did offer to do it, but I didn't have an experienced person to go whith him. Having 7 sets of Judges certainly had a huge positive effect on our ability to have the trophy presentation at 3.30pm.
I hope you enjoyed your time on the Day.
