Awesome cruise guys, i think that we have to give a hand to our organiser Matt Loon and Matt (Static1800) with coming up with the thread that started it all.
The day was beautiful for a cruise would have been a tad better if it was a bit cooler but can't complain. Our special guest appearance Tim (you will be receiving a award in the mail - longest travel to be part of the cruise )
Everyone had some awesome rides. Thanks guys for making such a big event one which I will remember awesome. George loved those deeeeeeeeeeeeeep dishes mate they were fulisik Also alot of the mk2's that were there.
Thirty-two cars, magic. We had to keep stopping so that we could keep together and I thought this was a good idea, let everyone regroup so we could go again, so good work unlike the guys that sped off if they had stopped would have still been part of the group, wasn't a race to Mt Keira
Then we lost of few no idea back to Sydney I heard.
Got burnt like a crisp fantastic for the neck PAINNNNNNN!!!!!!!
Awesome work guys thanks for the company and as Matt said see use at the Nationals!!! Hopefully we can get about 30 cars there!!!
i had a great (warm) day... shame i couldnt have one of my mk1s there... but still fun... nice to meet people and see the dubs out in force... definitely worth the drive down from newy, even though we almost got stuck in bushfire trffic on the way home!
was nice to see a real mk1 gti !!
made my day when i used aydans blue diesel golf to pour diesel smoke all over a P plater in a falcon that was pissing me off on the freeway on the way home...
Good day, heat was just bearable but the sunburns at the moment aren't!
Would've been great if all 32 cars managed to make it to the beach @ Wollongong! Could've had a row of them on the grass and get some fantastic pics. Next time maybe!
Heres some pics.. View was spectacular, shame it was abit foggy,
Great car turnout Featuring the whole golf range! gtis 16v's oettinger kits everything =)
A few lil Problems which were quickly evaded - Beau and the police.. the white mkIII's rear proportioning valve, fixed with a peter-crushed-coke-can repair haha.. and the mkII linkage problem.
