Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Just got back. Phew, bet no-one got as sunburned as me!

I counted 32 at KKs and we picked up 3 more along the way, so 35 at Liverpool and Probably 25 by Mt Kiera

                    I reckon there were 5 Mk1s

                    4 Mk2s including 2 16vs

And a good representation of all the others.

Next time we will have maps and designated meeting points.

Classic moment for me was Beau showing the highway patrol motorcyle cop his American passport and the cop deciding it was too much paperwork to book him for unrepaired damage on his car.

The 20 dubs that stopped at the side of the freeway in protest may have helped too

Big shout out to Tim for coming along, sorry we lost you on
the way. Catch you in Melbourne.

Some nice cars and met some great new people. Nice to see some owners of newer VWs that did not have huuuge egos

A swim in the surf and some beers and dubs at the beach, doesnt get much better in my book.

See you all next time. (The Nationals Onslaught)

                        awesome

Had a great time, thanks guys.

Yeah could have been a bit more organised, but its really hard with 30ish cars - Good to meet a few of yas and give the polo a bit of a squirt here and then. But yeah, was a tad too hot for my liking

if that was meant for me... i never took any wrong turns, i was following someone who had radio/phone contact with whoever was going the right way lol .. so i take no blame

i accidently deleted the pix of my cam earlier .. so nothing from me unfortunately!
