Well I did a run of the loop this morning. The road is pretty bumpy mid corner on the way up in a few spots so watch out for those kind of things. Also while this is a pretty sedate drive make sure you drive at a speed you find comfortable. There are some nasty drops on the way up and we sure don't want anyone falling off. Also make sure you leave enough of a following gap on the way down and don't ride your brakes too much. As lovely a smell as overheated brakes are, not having any is not that fun.

If you're coming via the tolls make sure you give yourself an extra 5-10 minutes as they've closed them down to one lane in some spots and as no one in Queensland seems to know how to merge, chaos is ensuring.

Lastly for all the CB guys, we'll give channel 21 a go and see how it pans out.
    Cheers,
    Trent

        Some other things for tomorrow.

If we're all pulled over, make sure you don't gun it as you take off. Flicking up rocks and rubbish onto other people's pride and joy isn't cool and we've had broken headlights in the past.

Keep a good following distance. Remember the two second rule. Riding up someone's bum isn't cool either and if something happens joining them in the back seat also isn't cool.

Remember this is a cruise not a full on sprint. We will be sticking to the speed limit and driving to the conditions. We are going on a leisurely drive up and down the mountain and then having lunch.

Member's of Dave's family are attending who don't know the majority of us. Make sure you make them feel welcome and they have a good day.

Lastly don't forget to bring a donation to for the Cancer Council and some cash for lunch. I don't know if the pub accepts split bill payments so it will save on things.

        Cheers,
        Trent

Thanks for doing all the running around trent, another thing for everyone to note is that it's cane season and there is alot of rubbish, debris and cane trucks and tractors on the roads out here so we'll have to be extra vigilant.

See you all at 9, we're looking forward to it.

Had a good day, was glad to meet you all again. Nice to sit down and have a chat instead of just a drive. Roads were sketchy at times, but overall pretty ok. Here's some pics I took, sry the mk2 couldn't be there.

Must to have been! At least you had a gap behind me to actually see the rocks coming. I was so far up trent's ass (as gay as that sounds ), all of a sudden there were a bunch of rocks on the road taking a corner.
