The 2009 VW Nationals will break with tradition and will now be held on Sunday 24th May.

Dunno how we got 25th as i was very confused for a while.

Now as planned theres food for on the friday night, some may like jap, some may not.. however.

MY thoughts IS.

a) The guys @ CarCareProducts have offered for us to be able to use they're premises in Rozelle (near the City) for a BBQ / detailing session and possible wash (Dependant on restrictions and costings obviously they have to pay water etc). ; So maybe a BBQ and GROUP meet there PRE nats and able to get your car ready if you choose (OR NOT?). Then all you would have to do if your not garaged is rinse off car in morning.

b) Seb @ EuroAutomotive in North Parramatta Area has also offered a BBQ with same facilities however Seb isn't a detailer and can't give you his ideas or help doing your car. Although he will allow you to wash HIS car if need be as well.

So 2x BBQ / Grouping Ideas pre-nats.. YAY or NAY? Thought may be good as some can't make dinner / or aren't interested in dinner theme.

No offence to Seb intended but Carcare products sounds like a very clever idea in terms of everyone doing a final detail to their cars up and mixing it into a social "get together" (group hug event?)
With dinner functions everyone is sat a tables and if its busy, it can be hard to get away from your own table and meet others,

After hours at sebs has a huuuuuge carpark to fill.

They have a fair hit of a car park, being on a Saturday other business' are closed surrounding them as well so we should be able to clutter up the area or group hug each other as Andrew said (these funny tazzy people i tells ya!)

SO ill have a chat to them this week, if people are up for it we can definitely go there and do that?

i wont be, car will be getting detailed on friday/saturday. goulburn would throw that out and make me have to redo and rush it all again .. too much effort!

'can get to the track anytime' if need be, plus i'd have to change wheels over twice in one day.. too lazy/busy for these things lol

1. Casterton Kelpie weekend (Kelpie Hillclimb & High Jump) Queen's Birthday.
2. DOVW Melb.
3. Nth Qld trip to Ayr for Christmas.

Haven't been to Nationals for years as it clashed with Bug Ins. I should do this.
