Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW VW Nationals 2009 Sydney.

I've looked on the Club VW page, but info isn't too clear about times and dates.

    Anyone know anything more??

I'm planning on tripping up in the diesel, and I know a few others are also looking at tripping up.

    discuss.

Velly, you can ride with me mate. or anyone of the car's that are going up atm!

you could be the "break" driver perhaps, and switch between cars, or something.

I will be organising pre-enrty again this year once Club VeeDub finalises things.

Should be better laid out this year too, but we will see. Last year we had about a 50/50 mix of air/water coolers, it would be damn nice if we could have more water than air cars on the day, show the old boys the nu wave is taking over.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

Probably a bad choice of words, considering they organise the event.. Maybe something more like "Show the old boys the new cars are just as popular"?

I might take the Caddy this year instead of the Karmann. Not as cool but the Karmann was a bit of a pain having to garage it over night n stuff.
