[SYD] 11 Jan 2009 - The Official VWWatercooled Summer Run Picture Thread
Judging from the pics, looks like there was a good turnout. I'm annoyed at myself cause I didn't remember about the cruise until about 10:45am on Sun morning. Shot down to Stanwell about 2:00 on Sunday arvo but as there were so many groups of people down there I wasn't able to find everyone
Oh well, will have to make sure I go on the next one.
BTW how many cars ended up going? Did you break the 50 from last year?

I think it would be close.... When everyone was grouped together the line stretch for about roughly 100 - 150m (with spaces of course)
I must agree that we should change up the route to include a few more twisties, when we were leading I told Mischa to head down Mt keira for some twisty fun we were waiting like 15 mins for the next car haha!
Great cruise guys, I need to start the mk3 again and move my ass on it big time other NoDubSteve will become and reality lol.
Great turnout guys, it was rcool to see so many dubs. I didn't hang around for lunch as Miss Tidy felt crook and needed to get home.
These pics were taken from the silver (and only ) MK4.

I liked this tidy little Ibiza.

Golf GTs at wide open throttle sound veeery inderesting from tarmac level. One of the DSG cars short-shifted at full boost and farted on my head. Not cool.

Reason: 1 - Stuffed up the links - new to pbucket. 2 - Miss Tidy objected to being publicly labelled messy.
although that other mk3 vr6 (plates adf) is pretty freakin low from the pics! and that mk5 gt (plates bdy.)
Mk3 VR6 is mine And of course the GT is Mischa's. Where is your car-to-face recognition Pierre? heheh.
Despite the fact I left early cos my shotgun was bored (he just doesn't understand the VWness lol..) I had a top day. I was so proud of us mk3ers almost matching the mk5 action but VERY dissappointed not to see more than the lonely one mk4, OR any mk1's/2's! I think we should have another gtg just because of that haha.
