Yo Sharkie! Been a while man! How's the rok going? I ended up getting rid of my TSI after a few motor mis-haps, got a V6 Diesel now. I've actually just got a Polo GTI Also which is different!
Do you know what/how to organise it, I had a look on the lakeside website and it wasn't particularly helpful, but if I could get an idea of how many interested people there would be, I'm sure we could work it out.....

I'm learning very quickly, the golden era of forums, getting together and working on cars seems to be quickly becoming a thing of the past.
I know there are a few who still enjoy it, but sad to see it's not as full on as it used to be.
Can't agree more. Very few of us actually get involved in the depths of our cars these days (and just coding a few things with OB11/VCDS does not count LOL).

I have been taking my diesel Golf to the Lakeside sprints organised by the BMW club, they are quite welcoming to other makes coming along. You can buy a day race license if you don't want to commit to a year and other than that you just need a helmet and long sleeve clothing.
