I am not fussed about the exchange rate or the exact price, if there's money left over you deserve it for all your trouble to pull this together. My main concern is to make sure you're not out of pocket. Given we'll do the installation together don't worry about posting to me. We can get together once we both have our cars and install them both on the same day - how does this sound? Perhaps we can do the brakes on the same day?

whats the exact price and is this compatible with my version c l.e.d satnav because it saids on ebay the modules are about $500+

Robbie, the cost is $310USD for the unit (from page 3, last post), again I reiterate that this is the factory setup, I do not know if it will fit your satnav unit, but it will fit the RNS 510 factory satnav system.

I do not yet know exact australian dollar cost yet, I shall inform the interested parties tomorrow but expect it to be around the $297-300 AUD mark plus shipping to your location.

Can I just clarify that the Unit you guys are getting is the 9w7 model (older) and not the 9zb that we factory order in cars.. With in the next few weeks.. I have been told that Volkswagen dealers will be getting a new Dealer fitted kit which will be a dealer fitted 9zb Kit.. Hooray.. it works with RCD 310 RCD 510 RNS 510 RNS 850 anything with a white LCD Display.. It will also have three years warranty and there will no dramas with warranty on other parts it attachs too..

Crap, so does the old one not work with the new, MY11.5 updated screens?! If that's the case, then there is going to be 8 or so out of 10-12 of us with useless bluetooth kits!

Ok guys, so I have forgotten completly about the damn import duty, trying to sort this out as we speak and for thos who have contacted me already, thanks heaps.

Phillip from Gerald Slaven has pointed out that there is a NEW bluetooth, dealer fitted unit for the WHITE SCREEN cars, which all the MY11.5 polos have. Soooo, if that is the case, there is a good chance that this unit might not fully work in my car, frostee's, gti joe's etc and anyone else who has a new polo on order. If you have the blue screens on your RCD 310 and climate control / climatronic screen, then this won't affect you.

If indeed this is the case, I'm sorry guys, but I won't go ahead with the group buy because 3qtrs of us will have useless bluetooth modules

Sorry Robbie, yeah it is.

Basically, after the doubt that this might not work with the new MY11.5 updated systems along with the extra fees of import duty and GST, it didn't end up being feasible.

Just so everyone involved knows, if imported together, the units were going to cost approx $10 less than buying individually direct from the seller, sorry that I didn't factor this in sooner.
