Being a Passat owner I'm not familiar with the buttons on a Mk6 Golf. I'm wondering if they are the same as a B6 Passat? I tried to insert 2 photos into this reply to show you what I mean without success - despite reading the 'how to do it'. Are the buttons in a single row above the gearshift or in 2 columns to the left and right of the gearshift? Thanks.

carstyle4you won't open for me right now, but from what I can see on google this would also suit a MkV Golf. Also, I'm guessing by the curved right-hand corners this would only be suitable for the right hand position in the row. Are they correct assumptions?

The buttons are in a single row above the gear shift, as in this forum thread...

This button is also the right hand side one as per this photo..I have a weird thing for symmetry and so wanted to make the spacing even for my other buttons in the R.

I can't check the site either, but the thread above shows the type and figment style.

Also as per that you will need to solder the wires to your garage door opener to then 'activate' the opener.

I've soldered mine into two different remotes now (since I moved) and it's still working a treat. If you have an automatic garage door this is such a simple mod that makes everything neat and tidy. From new the buttons are a bit pricey to land in Australia... so snap up this one while you can

Hi Guys, sorry been pretty busy. The website for the button is back up and running, I double checked the price, based on this I am looking for $65 as it is over $100 delivered, and mine is basically brand new.
