Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    WA FS MK1 brand new carpet in black

    Gents,

    As described in the title I have a brand new black moulded carpet set for the mk1 golf. Never been used or even fitted. Kept hidden away in the shed for years

    Asking $200 for it. Can also post for postage cost. Cost $500 new when I bought it 10 yrs ago.

      Byron, 2 & 4 dr carpets are the same on the mk1. They fit both.

        I'LL TAKE IT - pending pictures. Also, the cabriolet carpets aren't the same I don't think. They come up short just beside the rear seat.. just a little wing bit that's sown on I believe. Mine doesn't have it, it has bits sewn on to make up for it... but my carpet is old as hell...

        P.s. what would postage to Melbourne cost?

          I've pm'ed you twice mate. I'm interested in the carpet for my '76 LS.
