Have the people who ordered the first batch received them yet?
If I knew it was going to take this long I would have taken up the offer too

When will the 2nd batch be organised, and is it possible to have this in our hands by end of November? Would really like to have this for our holiday season.

No they are not ready yet on the first batch;(
I think they work on it maybe 1 hour a day..
Iam guessing we will get it for xmas

I've just been informed that the first batch should be ready to go out on Wednesday. They assure me they have finished the testing now. To be clear, they said they were doing ageing test on a trial production, and not the initial batch that I've ordered - this batch will begin production on Monday. They're pretty firm about it this time but I'd set expectations to by the end of the week considering how good they've been with dates so far.

I just received new firmware which I will test today and I will report results back here.

Any good news on the new update sandy? like when playing a movie via usb or sd can you fast forward when you touch the screen..

There's been a fair bit of progress but still a few more issues to go. All ID3 tags are displaying properly now and controls now show up when playing a video if you tap the screen. However fast forward / rewind is still missing. There are a couple of things I have to check over in more detail too, but I think ~3 weeks should see the issue resolved, so I should have the units with me in about a month.
