Just realised in my 9N3 Polo GTi that the dash is silver and the headunit is dark grey/black.

Everybody that is purchasing for their 9N3 is buying a dark grey/black headunit.

DkN, do you have pics of the silver variant?

Here's a pic of the silver one - it's not the ANS series as it is running non-OEM style software but the external shell is the same:



Order has been placed with the supplier - although it is not a problem to switch from ANS-420 to ANS-410 at this stage.

The silver looks really off-putting, I'll definitely get the grey ANS-420.

Order placed yesterday, delivery 8-10 business days from then so everyone should expect it to arrive around 18th September, possibly longer if rural or further away like WA.

For the local pickup buyers, I will notify everyone when I receive the units.

Update - unfortunately there was a slight mix-up and the supplier has produced ANS-420 units without CAN-Bus decoders, and because these are now built-in to the ANS series units, they need to make new units again and this time include the CAN-Bus, so there will be a delay.

I have been promised that the units will still ship some time next week, so the delivery overall will be delayed by approximately 2-3 business days. This means they should still be delivered in the same week, but by 21 September (there may be a chance of delivery the next Monday 24th if you are in WA). Sorry about any inconvenience.
