A lot more than 8 people have confirmed so prices are set below. I have begun payment collection to speed up the order process, you can still join in at this stage but be quick as it will close Thursday.

I am offering a special order run and first-time promotion of any special unit you desire (ANS-810 and ANS-510 are excluded because I stock them locally). The three on offer are pictured below:




I do not stock these units and the current practice would be for me to bring them in the next time I replenish my usual stock if there is an order. Since there are a few people interested right now though, I am prepared to make a special order run and I decided to throw this out to the public for any other interested parties. Normally if you didn't want to wait and want a one-off order it will cost $35 extra for shipping.

Delivery will be 8-10 business days to your door from when I place an order with my supplier. I am prepared to wait about a week but not much longer, please PM me or post here for interest / questions. Preliminary plan at this stage is to wait till next Thursday the 30th, then begin collecting order confirmation and payment from interested parties, hopefully ready for an order with the supplier by Monday or Tuesday the week after.

So to clarify, units on offer are (prices prior to discount):

ANS-710, a 7" unit for Touareg up to 2011 and T5 owners up to June 2010 (from July 2010 T5 uses the usual fascia i.e. ANS-810 / 510 / 610) $650

ANS-610, a 7" version for the usual cars (Golf / Jetta 5+, Polo 6R, Passat B6+, Tiguan etc) that sits in between the ANS-810 and ANS-510 $640

ANS-420 (grey) / ANS-410 (silver), a 6.5" version for the older generation B5 Passat / mk4 Golf / Bora etc $620

Prices are inclusive of everything as per my main ANS-810 / 510 thread (GPS, maps, antennas, accessories, future firmware / map updates, shipping etc)

All specifications and accessories (which include iPod & USB cable) are identical with the information on ANS-810 / 510 provided in the thread linked to above. that thread again is here:

3+ orders will be priced as they are listed above, advantage being as said, minus wait and minus $35 one off shipment cost.

5+ orders will attract $40 off listed price.

edit: interest seems pretty high so if we get to 8+ orders I will take a further $20 off.

ANS710 will only fit T5 up to June 2010. From July 2010 onwards T5 will take the ANS510/ANS810.

Indeed it does. Please follow the link in first post, all software / hardware (except CANBUS decoders as required and screen size) are identical to the ANS-810 / ANS-510 units, and there is already a wealth of information you can look through

Well, I'd love one in the Bora, but I have a fairly new Alpine unit in there. But, my Passat would love one! So, if I decide to get one, it'd be the 510. They really look the goods!

Well the 510 and 810 I already stock so they're not part of the group buy, but the ANS-610 is - it's the 7" version sitting in between the 510 (6.5") and the 810 (8"). So this may be a good opportunity to get a good price for your Passat, if you like the 7" version
