Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

it's definitely a 9n3 adam - the 9n being the one with the dual round headlamps.

there are some websites that list parts for "9n2's", but coincidentally they dont seem to have parts for 9n3's, so i believe that's just car chassis semantics at play.

they will fit your car, if you're after new brakes. maybe a trial fit is in order?

if you're in the market for new brakes after your trackday, i'd suggest giving uprated parts a go - you might find that you do not need greater clamping force at all.

uprated fluid, pads and slotted rotors made a night and day difference in my pog, and i've only got 256mm rotors up front. even josh rates his uprated stock-sized parts highly.

something like a RDA slotted rotor, QFM HPX pads, and some good quality brake fluid to prevent brake fade, will transform your car's braking.
