Emails have started going out as finalised pricing starts coming in. There are a few people who haven't replied to emails or PMs with the details required - if this is you, please reply ASAP so we know your intentions, even if you plan on dropping out.

Hi all,

As some of you have undoubtably noticed, progress on the group buy has slowed a little of late. This is down to a combination of a few things:

1. My trip to Tasmania for Targa 2010. This left goodfella holding the bag and doing a lot of the organisational work on his own, and there's more than enough work for two people in this.
2. goodfella and I have both had stuff come up in our lives outside of the GB.
3. There have been some delays in those who have indicated interest in actually getting details back to us, which has prevented us from getting finalised quotes.

We are sorry for the delays, but the good news is that things seem to be on the up again now though - we believe we've received all necessary responses and so are now working on getting the back-end administration side of things sorted out once and for all.

This week, you should receive an email from us with a finalised quote in AUD and payment details (if you do not have an email from us by Saturday morning, please let us know!). If we've taken too long, or the finalised pricing isn't to your liking, we need a response that you're pulling out no later than midnight Sunday night (16th May) - if people pull out after that point, it's going to have a negative impact on everyone, so please be prompt in letting us know your intentions.

If you're still keen, we need payment by the morning of Saturday 22nd May (meaning you'll need to make payment by no later than 2pm Friday 21st May to get your money into my account in time). Unless you email me prior to this and have a very good reason for it, anyone who misses this deadline for payment will not be included in the GB, and we will simply refund any money which comes in late.

Once all payments are in, the order will be placed. We will keep everyone up-to-date on shipping from that point on - if there are any unexpected delays, we'll let people know immediately so that they can decide whether to defer or drop out-of-stock items from the order.

Again, sorry for the delays, but things should start progressing pretty quickly now.

Funny you should ask - goodfella and I have tonight received final quotes, done all the calculations (shipping, duty, GST, currency conversions, etc), and emails will start going out to participants tomorrow morning.
