That really sucks. I dont mind either redoing the GB or cancelling it. Sucks tho as i really wanted the goods but i cant really justfiy spending more money than i should on the car.

That really sucks but in no way am I annoyed at you guys. You both would have spent countless hours compiling orders, back and forthing with ECS and members, and just doing sums to work all this out. I feel much worse for you guys having had your efforts cut off.

I thought they might be a bit suss when I did the transfer the other week actually. They rang me almost immediately and asked if I'd authorised the payment, what your name was(Rob), and wether it was for the correct amount.

Keep us posted on what's what guys, I'm easy either way.

I think something is going on with paypal recently.
I had some money taken from my paypal account for something completely random. Then paypal reversed it when i questioned what was going on.

And then just yesterday I received a paypal payment from the website and within minutes it said that the purchaser was questioning the payment. Then without me doing anything the funds were cleared and the investigation closed?!

so they actually bothered to contact the people authorising the transactions, yet still thought it was suspicious???

I don't know why, but i've just added a lot more things to my wishlist, including LSD, ecs clutch kit (wanting to change from the 14lb to the 20.5 because the noise irritates me), sigma short shifter, CDA intake, Unibrace... and that's on top of the 4 grand of stuff i tried to get in this GB

Haha, I'm the same. I want to add a H&R swaybar, Hella Smoked taillights, door pull trim to my order of K04 turbo and fuel pressure reg. from ECS! A sigma shifter is also on the list. However I think I'll just do a personal order, paypal has already cost me 2 months of waiting and I'd rather have the parts now than wait another two months.

Apologies all for the delay - my grandmother passed away last Monday, and I've been busy attending to family duties until today.

Those who paid by PayPal should have received a full refund from PayPal - please email me (NOT PM) if this is not the case.

Those who paid by bank deposit, there has been a delay in receiving the funds from PayPal, they have finally approved the transfer back to my bank account today, it will take 3-5 days for the money to appear in my bank account, at which point I will transfer the money back to those who paid via this method. If you have not sent me your bank details, please do so - again by email (reply to one of the emails we sent), NOT PM.

Once everyone has their money back (or has made alternative arrangements with us), we'll see what we can do about restarting the GB.

PayPal have finally refunded the money to my account. I have issued refunds for those of you who have given me bank details - if you have not given me bank details and want a refund, please email me with your account details so that I can arrange a refund.

In light of just how big this GB got, I think Dave and I will try a different tact for any future GBs that we arrange. Stay tuned...
