Bluetop 34 is the same size as the yellow D34, but with extra terminals on it (for marine use). Should fit fine.
Some car audio people like the bluetops as it gives them another set of battery terminals to connect to.
From the thread in the Mk4 section, Mk4 owners will need an MF55 sized battery - unless this is confirmed (OP?), you're best not to order unless you plan on doing a battery relocation...
Yep - they can also be deep discharged without damaging them, unlike regular car battery designs that are permanently damaged by such occurrences.
The redtops are best for sitting for ages without a charge - that's why they're good in track or seasonal cars.
The guy who bought my Liberty did well. I still had the stock Liberty battery in the shed until recently - took it to the local waste recycling centre and disposed of it appropriately just a few weeks ago...
How it will be with the warranty should someone receive faulty battery?
From my own experience 2 out of 2 Optima batteries I had, failed. One came in brand new Jeep we bought and it was exactly 12 months old - dealer replace it with the new one. Second Optima, Yellow Top Deep Cycle and Starting battery (D51R) died in our Subaru Forester, it was just 3 years old.
I still got it in my garage.
I wish you guys you get batteries from a fresh stock and nobody will be disappointed with the purchase.
