Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    QLD F/S MY10 Golf GTI 42,000km

    2010 MK6 GTI, 45,000km,
    Manual
    Black Magic Pearl
    Leather
    18s (Detroits)
    MDI
    Near new tyres
    Serviced every 7500km (oil and filter), full service history.

    Only selling as we now require a 4x4, we looked long and hard for this car when we were shopping for a GTI, we are only the second owners from new, and haven't had to do anything to it except service it and drive. Car has RWC.
    Looking for $26,000 ono.
    Car is located in Mackay, QLD. Can deliver as far south as Brisbane, and north to Cairns.

    Bump, can assist with delivery to Brisbane, or transport company if required.
    Car has had dealer scan, replaced ignition switch, and there are no faults stored in any computers.
    I'm also about to do the 7,500km oil and filter change.
    Price is negotiable, really would prefer to sell it a VW fan rather than a carsales person, car is washed every weekend, waxed every 3 months and leather care every 3 as well.

          Just bought myself a 4x4.
          Price dropped on the GTI, happy to deliver to Brisbane/Gold Coast area after this weekend for purchaser.
          Its just going to get serviced, washed and waxed, then put under a car cover and not used until someone buys it!

                        Looks like a nice car - in good condition. Low kms for the age, and nicely spec'd. Being a manual gearbox is probably your issue (as unfortunate as that is, as manual is way better IMO) as most buyers are lazy and want the DSG.

                          location (where buyers pool live) does play big part. if it was in sydney or melbourne, it would have been sold long time ago.

                            $26k for a 10model reason it's not selling, friend just picked up 12model for $26k with Detroit/leather/sunroof/auto, can get the mk7 used for $35k, 10model worth $18-22k at best imo

                              you just need the right buyer. If we were in the market I'd seriously consider this, but need to move our current car first
