Hey mate,

Its a 8V with 276 degree cam, heavy duty valve springs, exhaust, it has german lowered springs on kyb shocks all around. Handling is fantastic like with all mk2's Yes still have all the original parts, i have the four stock rims with brand new pirellis, i could definately sell you the car with the stock rims. The AC still has the old rc gas in it so you would have to get it changed to the 134 gas... at my work we normally do that conversion fort around 250... Im a mechaqnic by trade so i have always fixed anything that has started to wear and i have always replaced worn parts with original VW parts. I can send you some interior pics too if you want mate.

I cant buy till i sell my mk5, but def interested. VW never brought the 16v's to australia did they.

Whats the straight line speed like? Its not too slow is it?

Yeah mate that totally fine not in a rush to sell! No they didnt, 16V's are very rare here in australia. No not slow, alot faster than a stock 8v

whats transport cost roughly for tas to qld? i am planning on buying a mk2 next month. im buying my own bday present hahaha. hopefully this will still be available, the only thing stopping me from buying anything now is i just had sweet body corporate fees for my house (quarterly ) very sad seeing such a terrible cost to pay.

Not too sure on transport costs mate.. would have to ask around and find out for ya... Would be alot cheaper to fly down and drive it back up though

Recent Adelaide to Brisvegas quotes were around 700 from memory, Melbourne a shorter and busier route.
From Tassie will have to include a ferry trip from a smaller market, so that must add up.
Depot to depot is also less than door to door at each end, if you can arrange to get the car to the transporter.
