TAS '90 Golf mk2 GTi

Hey guys,

Its come to the time where i need to sell the golf as i need a bigger car

Specs are now as follows, 141,000 km with full service history from new, timing belt was done at 100,000km aswell as a new waterpump, all drive belts replaced 2,000km ago, 2 1/4 catback, 276 cam and HD valve springs, K&N, lowered kyb shocks and H&R springs, new front disc and pads, new mintex pads on rear and front wheel bearings, new P/s pump, rare 17" lensos with a little gutter rash and with 80% tires, full audio setup, near perfect interior and very good body, just one stonchip and one tiny dent which is expected for a 20yr old car... I have owned this car for 2 years now and it has been the amazing, never once had a problem with it at all. Handles and sounds brilliant and would have to be one of the cleanest golfs in the country. Will be very sad to see her go. Looking for around 5800 neg and comes with alot of spares, orig rims with new pirelli's, headlights and all other original parts.

I saw this car parked in Invermay last week and had a look around it. It's in immaculate condition Why don't you come up with an agreement where you meet in Melbourne and the owner flies home from there? Would probably work out cheaper.

Only known problems are that the aircon needs a regas, apart from that its perfect as! Have a look in the club meeting section of the forum, some more in there as we had a cruise today otherwise let me know what sort of pics you want... We can certaintly come to some sort of agreement with me having it brought over to melbourne if you want mate so just drop me a PM

I've never driven a mk2 gti, so hows the handling, acceleration etc? 16v yeah?
And do you the original wheels? Really dont like the ones you've got on there atm
