South Australian Scirocco R
Bought a used Scirocco from WA, trucked over here, picked it up and now it's at the mechanic's!

Chip your ECU
Techtonics Eprom chip for MK3 Golf 8V OBD11. Ecu code number must end in 259. Brand new never been installed. Yes I bought the wrong one! Cost over $200 yours for $100. Tectonics recon it will make about an 8% improvement in performance? Don't think it will give you under 10 second quarter mile though!...Last edited by Rex; 20-12-2019, 09:50 AM.

Keep or replace high KM Tiguan?
We have a 2010 7SPD DSG Tig we bought new in 2010 with the 110TDI motor.
The vehicle has 209,000 km on it and has had regular servicing by a local VW mechanic (Volksworx).
The only thing to go wrong, was the a/c compressor. VW wanted to replace the compressor, local a/c...

Hard brake pedal at low speeds after vacuum pump overhaul
I have a 2009 2.0 TSI and replaced the seals on my vaccum pump today because there was a bad oil leak. The job was pretty straightforward and the seal kit included 3 o-rings and the gasket between the pump and the head. Everything seemed to be fine until I pulled up to park and after pushing the brake...

Topped up the wrong oil - 132TSI
Hello everyone,
I topped up the wrong oil between service, only 1L though. I used 5w-30 Castrol edge (502/505) instead of the LL version (504/507). My engine is 132tsi petrol.
Is this safe? Should I put the right oil now or wait until the next service?
Thanks in...

Wrong wheel bolt spacing?!? Need some advice
Hi guys,
I am new here so I don't know if this is a silly question or not. I recently bought a new set of rims (with the correct wheel bolt spacing of 5X112). I had hit a pothole when driving back from work at night and cracked a rim. I got a new one sent to me by the company that had sold...
