Hi guys, so I’m wondering if i was to gather all the parts from wreckers, including wiring looms needed for a parking sensor retrofit. What exactly would I need? And how accessible would the looms & other parts be?

My 2.0 FSI Comfortline has been bastardised with these headlights - aftermarket or off a higher spec Golf? They're bright - either LED or Xenon.

Either way, I'm going to swap them out for some OEM headlights... any recommendations for aftermarket OEMs or do...

Drove a mates mk6 GTI and loved it. I then bought a Mk 5 TDI (more within my budget).
My most recent drive was an NP Pajero 3.5 V6. Now at the wreckers (motor failed at 307,000KMS).
I enjoy working on cars.

Don't ask me how but my old man managed to snap it clean off. lol, he's asking me to find a replacement.

Said he'll be travelling from Templestowe to Frankston tomorrow, if there's anything on the way that'd be ideal.

Been trying to get some parts off mk5s at the wreckers but I need to remove the DSG shift knob and from every DIY I can find this involves being able to move the shifter. All the ones at the wreckers are 'locked' and can't be moved as the car has no power. Is there a way to unlock...

Car fell off Jack and bent the screw. Is proving hard to straighten and Im not sure I would trust it afterwards

Does anyone have a spare one please Am waiting on a reply from wreckers as well.

Long story short - neighbours visitor hit my car (2010 Polo 6R) and hasn't returned to the house and neighbour won't hand over the details, excess for me $800, so probably not worth going through insurance.

Seeing as I'm finally on Uni Holidays, I've decided to start my hunt for a few spare parts etc for my MK5 Golf. One of my main goals was to check out as many wreckers as I can and see what I can find.

stupid me broke my wiper arm stud on the linkage side. Does anyone know if this part can still be purchased from VW or am I going to have to hunt throughout the wreckers? I would call myself but its sunday and I'm a bit pissed at myself.

recently our A4 gave up the ghost, there's water in the oil and the auto is a POS, the car is a 1998 2.0 NA dark blue wagon with 185,000kms, we are about to send it off to the wreckers. That is unless there is a cheap solution to get it on road, someone who'd be interested...
