At some stage after our 2018 model the towball weight increased up from 100kg to 200 maybe? Does anybody know which year that increase was?

I have a T6.1 TDI 450 single cab. I'm standing here looking at the tow bar and I am sceptical.
It looks as sturdy as the one on my old hilux single cab workmate.
But yet the hilux tow ball can handle 225kg, the T6.1 can only handle 100kg.

On my previous two T5 vans I've had the factory tow bar fitted by the dealer and it's always been a neat job. I recently had the factory tow bar fitted to the new T6.1 again by the dealer and honestly it looks like canine excrement with bits of bumper and underbody plastic hacked away to make it work....

I have just used my dealer fitted tow bar for the first time and noticed a ACC error come up if I try to activate.
Also the green flasher pilot light on the dash has changed to a small arrow pointing both ways.
Is this normal ?
