Is there any other parts needed to retrofit a steering wheel on to a 2011 b7 passat? e.g do I need a new slip ring?

I've got my house on the market and I've purchased a new one in Queensland.
Here is my dilemma. My rego is due 21/September The green slip is $503.70
But in Queensland it's only $329.60. I don't pay the rego fee as I'm a pensioner
The house in qld is due for settlement...

Hi all, the clutch take-up is too close to the floor and now a little extra effort is required to get into 1st gear.
i'm now resigned to the fact a new clutch kit needs to be installed. This was the suggestion of a local brake and clutch centre today who bled the system to ensure not a hyd problem....

So my R has about 11k on it now and aside from the odd hit through a couple of gears the car is driven very lightly. I have noticed over the last 4k or so that the clutch engagement has risen to the very top of the pedal and the amount of bite is fairly lame.

It could be a good price even if add $1K for blue slip and rego, just wonder what has happened to it as its rego was cancelled on 4 June 2014.
