Hi everyone, I’m trying to find security accesss code for engine ecu for 1.4tsi. It’s med17.5.5 . I need to change the coding from automatic to manual gearbox but I need to enter the security access code to do so. Just wondering if anyone has it as I can’t find it anywhere. Thanks

Has anyone been able to connect the WLAN on there head unit to Mobile Hotspot on an Android device?

I have been trying and can't get it working. I suspect it might be the security settings on the Wi-Fi (WPA2) and that VW might not be compatible.

hey guys, just a quick one.

I have a donor vehicle that once or so a week I like to reconnect the battery, start it up and circulate some oil.

Problem is recently every time I do this the alarm goes off, sometimes it continues to go off minutes after I've switched the car...

I know this is probably in the wrong section to post, but this is the only bit that I ever check on, so mods please feel free to move to appropriate section.

I removed the RCD310 from the Polo and installed a RCD510. Now the 510 has to come out for reasons I won't go into, so when I put the 310 back in, will it work or will it need the security code? Thanks.

Out of interest (maybe a dealer can answer this one) why are new VWs sold without the security pin provided for the radio?
