I removed the RCD310 from the Polo and installed a RCD510. Now the 510 has to come out for reasons I won't go into, so when I put the 310 back in, will it work or will it need the security code? Thanks.

If the RCD310 was installed at factory then fit the unit. Turn on ignition and then turn on the radio and it will activate the code automatically. If its not from that car when it was built then you will need the code.DARKHORSE DEVELOPMENTS
