Hi guys, any idea which is the higher rated clutch for 4cyl Amarok? Mechanic is happy to install either a LUK or SACHS clutch kit and at the moment i'm swinging towards LUK as it's about $200 cheaper installed.

My ute is a petrol TSI E888 stage 1 APR tuned making 190kw 430nm at the wheels....

Looking at some genuine Sachs replacements as have been told these are OEM and excellent. Can anyone confirm?

And does anyone know if the 4x4 Scout uses the same front struts as the std Octy? I've found some that are supposedly compatible but want to be sure, as they'll be coming from...

My car is due for new shocks.

I am running KW 20mm lowered springs and the OEM Sach ones have lasted me 140,000kms.

Do i stick with OEM or go Bilstein B8's?

What has everyone around here done?

I'm getting the Sachs SRE Performance Clutch installed in my car soon. Anyone who has done this can you please let me know if you replaced the flywheel or just used your original? It's a massive expense if not needed! I will replace the flywheel and pressure plate bolts with new items...

Hey guys at 80000km my clutch is now dead and not disengaging when revved above 3000rpm I.e granny mode driving. I've seen a few guys buy the Sachs 228mm with Ecs single mass fly wheel and just wanted to double check if this is the correct part.

Ok just what I didn't need so close the Christmas. 108000klm's, I have never ridden the clutch but don't know how it was treated for the first 40000klm of it life. Only slips in 4th 5th or 6th when you open the throttle up and the most boost is created.

Anybody had these issues yet?...
