My air-con/heater blower resister shorted and melted the resistor along with the power/earth plug.

Anyone wrecking a VW or Audi with a #7L0907521B resistor and double female plug for a
(I Think the Touareg, Q7 and a few other models have the same unit).

My low speeds on the air con went to lunch the other week so decided to replace it , ordered one from ebay seller in Victoria $11.99 . Arrived today and whilst there was only crap on TV decided to change it at 10.50PM tonight , ten minutes later and all fixed . Only dumb part is VW using a 5.5 mm headed...

After putting up with speeds 3 & 4 on my air con for too long I discovered that it may be the heater resistor. Quotes were a couple of hundred at least so a bit of googling and eBay searching I landed the part for $6.60 delivered.

Finally attacked the task yesterday, after loose instructions...
