Got the above recall notification when trying to book my MY18 Arteon for a service with VW.

Seems to affect DQ381 DSG built in '17/18.

Issue being an oil pump shaft within the 'start/stop' system that can break without warning and destroy the transmission.

So the clockspring on my B7 2011 Diesel decided to stop working.

Spoken to VW dealer and they have informed me that the VW recall for this doesn’t apply in Australia.

They cannot tell me how much it will cost as they need to connect the ODB tool which they will charge...

Have recently been asked to bring my T6 Transporter in for a factory recall & was advised that it's for the EGR software update. I only have 2 more months of warranty remaining & the car has been trouble free & going great for the past 3 1/2 years apart from an ABS sensor light on the dash....

I just noticed that my MY16 Passat Alltrack has a recall listed as outstanding. Its for the ''S-Engine control unit'' and the recall commenced 31/05/2022. Has anyone had it done / know what its about. I will check with the dealer but sometimes i get better info here than i do from the dealer.

I recently had the warning that says “Error, leave vehicle in P position” while driving and from my research it seems to be a common issue overseas. They even had an official recall for a compliance recall on shift lever micro switch in the US. I was wondering if there was one as well in Australia...

Then the other day I was going up a small hill, when the car went into neutral all of a sudden (like pressing the clutch on a manual) and it revved out while driving, could not get drive...

I see in the news, that the VW group are doing a recall on 80,000 cars for a problem with the DSG.

I rang the hotline yesterday and my Superb is not included in the recall, but others are, worth your while to get these checked out guys.

Just dropped my car off for it's 4 week asesment, and they told me it is getting a software update as fix a parking sensor recall. I can't find any details on, this, anyone heard of this?

Had a battery replaced a year or so ago and since then the distance lines on parking assist are away out.

EG if im reverse parking it shows im 600mm away when really Im about 300mm away from whats behind me.

Is most annoying so today when getting my airbag recall done...
