My steering is getting fairly grindy and after replacing inner and outer ties rods, now realise that I need another rack....

Anyone know if there would be a rack sitting on a shelf , in a shed somewhere or maybe a rebuild option?
I'm thinking GTI rack is exact...

Hi Am asking for comments or advice about whether to fit a towbar - genuine VW. Does it effect the handling noticeably, do I lose any functionality eg self parking and other sensors, when not towing? I want to use it mainly for a bike rack but would occasionally tow a trailer or camper trailer....

is there anyway to disengage the “ foot waving boot release “ when you have a bike rack fitted on the towbar ?
dont want to put the rack on then accidentally open the boot

Anybody fitted a bike rack to their MK 2 Tig RLine, that's not tow hitch mounted (don't have one) and if so which one? I don't tow anything, so don't want to spend 1500-2000 on a VW tow hitch and would not trust myself on roof rail ones.

Most concerned about straps over the rear spoile...

Looking for a roof rack for our Tiguan. Decided not to go with the VW genuine accessory. Want it to hold about 100kg, same as the VW one.

I’ve never had a car with roof rack mounting straight onto the body, and these Rhinos look like metal clamps grip straight under the door frame. I’m worried...

It looks like my son's 2.5 petrol T4 has a crook power steer pump, as it's making a horrible noise and the steering is very heavy. I'm wondering if the pumps are generic across the T4 range?
Also, does anyone in the Brisbane area happen to have a spare, the people wrecking T4's are proving difficult...
