wondering if anyone knows to remove / completely disconnect front brake calipers on golf R mk7.

I have changed the pads before so know how to unscrew the bolts but i would like to remove the entire caliper and refurb them.

Loaded the new-ish (from April) map updates into the Arteon today. It's really easy once you know what to do. They aren't wired up from the back through to the front however with just the speakers wires dangling behind in the wooden frame.
Assuming the previous owner never got around to fitting....
